A Laysan Albatross (Moli) and brand new albatross chick(later known as Francis) take a moment to warm in the afternoon sun. In the first few weeks of life the makua (parent) will still lay over the new chick most of the time to keep him or her warm until their fluffy feathers grows in thicker.
